I sometimes see folks refer to old Jimny or Samurai as KEI trucks, but they are not really KEI class trucks just because they are little. KEI Trucks have to meet certain Japanese restrictions based on engine size (max. 660 cc). Are there any other specifications that qualify a truck in this “light vehicle” truck class? Dimensions? Smog? Wheel size? Weight? Anything?
