Canada Day (Canadian Memorial Day)

In Canada, Memorial Day falls on the same day as Canada Day. It is celebrated (hard!) on July 1st each year. Commemorates the day in 1867 when Canada's three provinces were united into a dominion of the British Empire, called Canada. (Memorial Day is not to be confused with their Remembrance Day, which is every 11th of November.)
